RemigoOne Neo – world’s first fully integrated, one size fits all, lightweight electric outboard.
Suitable for all types of boats up to 1500 kg. Designed to challenge the usual pain points of comparable outboards: weight, cable corrosion, handling, oil leaks, reliability and durability.
Remigo is shaped like a rudder, meaning you can remove your MiniCat rudder, install the Remigo and steer directly with the motor. It’s lightweight (just 12 kg), silent, and maintenance-free, with an adjustable transom bracket that adjusts to both short and long shaft setups. No need to choose between models — Remigo adapts to your boat.
TESTIMONIAL
SIMON FISK
“The RemigoOne has been the perfect pairing with my MiniCat 520 Explorer. Having spent much of the summer sailing in and amongst the islands of the Georgia Strait, the Remigo motor became an absolute essential addition to my M520 rig. Renowned for light winds through the summer months, Desolation Sound is also a paradise. Along with my addition of the MiniCat 520 Genna Sail, the Remigo got us through many legs of our trip with ease and reliability. It truly felt that at 3-4 notches on motor power (3-4 led) that it would run endlessly. We crossed 14 nautical miles under low power, and the charge had barely bumped. At full power, easy to get 4-5 knots, but the battery dropped quite quickly. With the Remigo solar panel set up as we were underway, I could charge the battery as I was running it, which gave me peace of mind on longer trips. As with my MiniCat 520 Explorer, I am so impressed with this motor, lightweight, great power, so incredibly easy to use, and looks dynamite too. I used the motor both as a rudder and straight power using the M520 rudder. Both scenarios work great, but I found I had better steerage in tighter spaces with the motor as rudder, in and out of marinas etc. On later summers journeys I pulled an 8-foot dinghy behind us with our gear on to keep the trampoline clear of equipment, and the Remigo performed just incredibly. Outside of buying the MiniCat 520 Explorer, the Remigo was the absolute best purchase I’ve made. I will be buying another one soon for the dinghy/barge so I can venture to shore on evenings whenever I am anchored on the M520 Explorer.”
Remigo One Neo / Performance
When paired with a 1085-Wh battery and a 3.40 m inflatable boat, the Remigo One delivers impressive range across different power settings:
• Full throttle: At maximum output, the Remigo One powers the boat at approximately 9.2 km/h for about one hour — covering a total distance of 9.2 kilometres. Perfect for short, fast transfers or quick outings.
• Cruising mode: Dialling back to moderate power extends your time on the water to around 4.5 hours, cruising comfortably at 5.5 km/h. That gives you a range of roughly 25.6 kilometres — ideal for relaxed exploration or day trips.
• Eco mode: For long, leisurely journeys, the Remigo One can run at just 75 watts of power, maintaining a steady pace of 3.7 km/h for up to 15 hours. That’s a remarkable 55 kilometres of range — all from a single battery charge.
Whether you’re zipping across a bay or drifting through quiet coves, Remigo adapts to your pace and maximizes your time on the water.
About Remigo – Innovation from Slovenia
Remigo, based in Slovenia, has redefined what an electric outboard can be. As pioneers in the field, they were the first to introduce a sleek, rudder-shaped motor with a fully integrated battery housed within the shaft — a design that’s as functional as it is elegant.
Their breakthrough inspired a wave of imitators, but Remigo remains the original — like MiniCat, a proudly European product built with precision and purpose. While others have tweaked specs or battery sizes, Remigo’s core innovation continues to set the standard.
We’re proud to partner with a brand that shares our values of sustainability, simplicity, and smart design. After much consideration, we believe that Remigo offers the best electric outboard for your MiniCat, and we’re excited to see what Remigo brings to the future of electric boating.
“On test this outboard gave as much thrust as the ePropulsion but out performed it in terms of maneuverability. The Remigo can be switched from forward to reverse thrust at the touch of a button. For simplicity and intuitive controls and use we are giving this a solid 5 out of 5 stars. For power delivery, battery, screen and controls 4.5 out of 5. For eco credentials 5 out of 5.”
“As we know, power delivery in an electric motor is immediate, so using these buttons allows for gradual power delivery, providing both battery savings and a greater safety factor.”
“After 35 minutes of driving, of which at least 20 minutes were at full power, we only used up one bar of the charge out of 10. Therefore, we can’t say precisely what its range is, but we’d say it’s quite enough for a week of cruising. With occasional recharging, probably much longer.”
